Watching football is like watching pornography. There’s plenty of action, and I can’t take my eyes off it, but when it’s over, I wonder why the hell I spent an afternoon doing it.
Action battles doubt.
Action will remove the doubts that theory cannot solve.
Action is taking the first step. Action is climbing the hill. Action combined with desire, harmonious intent, and undoubting yesfulness is invincible. Hallelujah!
Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.
One’s action ought to come out of an achieved stillness: not to be a mere rushing on.
It is easier to act yourself into a better way of feeling than to feel yourself into a better way of action.

Beethoven, Wagner, Bach and Mozart settled down day after day to the job in hand with as much regularity as an accountant settles down each day to his figures. They didn’t waste time waiting for inspiration.
